In Astrakhan, the director of the management company was sentenced to 2.5 years in a general regime colony in a criminal case about the death of a child in April last year.
This decision was made by the Kirov District Court, the press service of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Astrakhan region told, according to the materials of the investigation, the Director General of the Criminal Code did not control the cutting and pruning of potentially dangerous trees near one of the houses on Kulikov Street. On April 30, 2024, during a strong gust of wind, a tree collapsed on a playground where children were playing. As a result, a sevenyear-old girl died in hospital, another child was injured in the form of hematomas and abrasions, reports TASS.
