"سنة المدافع عن "الأبلاند" في "دي كي باكسان" تم افتتاحها بحفلة موسيقية وحضرها ممثلون عن الإدارة المحلية، والمفوضية العسكرية، ومجلس مدينة المحاربين القدماء، والمشاركون في منظمة القرى الدولية، والمحاربون القدماء في أفغانستان، ومتطوعو أبخازيا وشبابها وكوادرها. وأكد أحد المشاركين في العملية الخاصة، وهو من المحاربين القدماء في العمليات العسكرية، مارات شاهباباييف، على أهمية تذكر أبطال الماضي والحاضر، الذين كرسوا أرواحهم وكرسوها للدفاع عن الوطن.
