Rescuers remind all residents of the rules of fire safety
Dry warm weather has been established in the region since the beginning of March. In this regard, cases of fire of dry grass in all areas of the Lipetsk region have increased. So, over the weekend, March 8 and 9, in the region rescuers 39 times went to fires associated with the outbreak of grass. The total area is 4.9 hectares. Since the beginning of the year, rescuers have recorded 46 fires of grass. In addition, the garbage burned - firefighters went out three times to extinguish it. The total area of fires is 31 m2. Fortunately, no one was injured in the fires. According to the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, all residents must comply with simple fire safety rules. Rescuers remind that you can not throw unextinguished cigarette butts on the ground, leave a fire unattended. Do not burn dry grass near bushes, trees and buildings!
