She said that at the end of February, after the expiration of the bank deposit, she applied to the branch of the credit institution to re-register the contract. There she connected the service of a non-state pension fund. When the woman returned home, she received a call from an unknown person and introduced herself as an employee of the NPF. She said that to complete the procedure, you need to “remotely log in” to the phone by pressing certain buttons. The woman fulfilled the instructions and provided the fraudsters with remote access to the device, the press service of the Amur police reported. Then the Amurchanka called allegedly a representative of the portal “State Services”. The man explained that the woman’s account was hacked, and handed the conversation allegedly to a security officer who convinced him to transfer savings to a secure account. The woman was even told how to bypass the control service of the bank: to withdraw funds under the pretext of “treatment mother”. In conversations with real bankers, the woman denied outside influence and continued to follow instructions. In total, she transferred almost 1.5 million rubles to criminals.
