He added that these forces must be deployed in a manner acceptable to all parties to the conflict. The British newspaper Telegraph also reported that the leaders of Britain and France are discussing the possibility of sending peacekeeping forces to Ukraine after the conflict is over. Sources of the publication mentioned that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has not yet given final consent to this. At the same time, French President Emmanuel Macron continues to promote the idea, which he previously discussed with Volodymyr Zelensky and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Trump also said that he was not against the presence of European troops in Ukraine as a peacekeeping contingent after the end of the conflict. However, some European leaders have expressed doubts about the feasibility of deploying peacekeepers in the country.
