On the river Kama near Perm there is a village of Ust-Garevaya. It is the same as thousands of Russian villages and at the same time special. All life in it - around the local school and its director, the real people's leader Irina Vylegzhanina. There was a time when the school was about to close: there were too few children here. Without a school, the village would have been completely depopulated and disappeared from the map of Russia, like many of our villages and villages. But there was Irina Vylegzhanina, there was an Orthodox church, and for many years there is another ascetic – Mother Martha. Together, all the villagers found their way to salvation. Almost every family has adopted children. Now they are more than half of the total number of children. And the village revived and blossomed school, which now even has its own film studio.
