Vadim Grigorievich was born in Leningrad on August 4, 1935. He joined Zenit in June 1957 and proved himself an outstanding footballer almost immediately. Promising striker interested in Moscow clubs, but Khrapovitsky remained in his team. He played for the blue-white-blues until 1964, played in 147 games and scored 38 goals. Later he also spoke for the Leningrad Avangard and Labor Reserves and Shakhtar from the Kazakh Karaganda. Since 1976, Vadim Grigorievich for six years worked in the coaching staff of Zenit. Then, in 1988, he returned to his native team for a year and a half. The football club expressed sincere condolences to the family of Khrapovitsky.
