Died composer Sofia Gubaidulina, reports TASS with reference to the mayor’s office of Kazan. Sofia Gubaidulina created more than a hundred musical works, including symphonies and compositions for soloists, choir and orchestra, music for theater, cinema and cartoons. They were performed by the largest Russian and foreign musicians: Gidon Kremer, Natalia Gutman, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Mstislav Rostropovich, Valery Gergiev, Anna-Sophie Mutter, Simon Rattle, Kent Nagano and many others.
