The incident occurred in the Olkhonsky district of the Irkutsk region. The car fell under the ice 200 meters from the shore. The driver and passenger were able to evacuate on their own, but a dog remained in the cabin. Rescuers removed the vehicle. Fortunately, the animal was not injured, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
