Animal Rabies Prevention Month begins tomorrow at the regional center. From March 1, and for two months, Lipchans can vaccinate pets free of charge against a dangerous disease. The rabies virus is transmitted from an infected animal to other animals and humans when bitten or saliva enters mucous and open wounds. Without vaccination, the disease leads to the death of the animal. To protect pets, Lipchan can come to 55 mobile points and veterinary hospitals in the Left Bank and Right Bank districts of the city. And for wild animals, bait with liquid vaccine will be scattered in the vicinity of the city.
