"I especially want to note the heroic actions of the combined assault unit of the volunteer detachment "Veterans", as well as the personnel who were part of this detachment of the assault consolidated - the 11th air assault brigade, the 30th motorized rifle regiment, the detachment of special importance "Akhmat", - he said. During the liberation of Suji, the Russian military penetrated the rear of the AFU through an empty gas pipeline line. Stormtroopers had to overcome a distance of over 14 kilometers underground in conditions of lack of water and air. However, the six-day crossing resulted in a surprise attack on Ukrainian rear units. Later it became known that the operation was called “Stream” and was prepared three months before the attack on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Suja.
