Mentors introduce teenagers to cold and firearms, explaining how to properly hold the sight, charge the store and hold it to the machine. Fire training is carried out using blank cartridges. Three shots at each position: standing and lying down. Most of the students held weapons for the first time in their lives. Until the end of February, all tenth-graders of Nadym schools passed shooting classes. “The Department of Education concluded an agreement with the Legion training center and the Cossacks. We want children to feel what an automatic shot is, what an automatic recoil is and, in the end, how gunpowder smells, said Vladimir Khizhnyak, head of the pedagogical methodological association of the OBZR in Nadym district.
