Khakassia may adjust the regional budget for timely regional payments to the participants of the special military operation of Russia in Ukraine. This was stated during an online briefing with the media by Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic Sergey Sokol.
According to him, the authorities of Khakassia are waiting for proposals that will allow to allocate this item of expenditure in a separate line. In the meantime, solutions are being developed to compensate for the debts already owed to the participants of the SBO. “We will now think where to squeeze,” said Sokol. Now the amount of payments in the region is 400 thousand rubles. Earlier, residents of Khakassia, who went to the SVO zone, complained about delays in regional payments. Sokol noted that the situation is egregious, and the authorities of the region will do everything to resolve it as soon as possible. He also announced a meeting with the families of SVO veterans, where this topic will be discussed.
