The pilot project “Talking City” in test mode was launched in Lipetsk. But not all tasks animals can do. To help the blind better navigate in the city is called the pilot project. This is a system of radio information and sound orientation in buses and at public transport stops. Yuri Toptov, expert on accessible environment: The system is currently only available on bus number 28. In the cabin, the visually impaired helps to navigate the sound signal. And with the help of a smartphone and an app, you can track the movement of public transport and warn the driver that a blind person wants to get in or out of the bus. Another such system is equipped with traffic lights in the area of the bakery No. 3 and the building of the center of education, rehabilitation and rehabilitation on the Mechanizers street. As sounded at the round table, the scaling of the project will increase the accessibility of the environment for visually impaired. Oleg Kosolapov, deputy of the Lipetsk City Council of Deputies: Accessible environment experts have been monitoring. We came to the conclusion that such equipment should be installed on at least three more public transport routes. For now, it's a plan for the future. The task for this year is to launch a project in the most significant social facilities.
