The collision occurred at night on the 84 km of the Yoshkar-Ola-Zelenodolsk highway. According to preliminary data of the prosecutor’s office, the driver of the Peugeot Boxer truck drove into the oncoming traffic lane in order to overtake the car and collided with the Chevrolet Aveo car. “As a result of the accident, the driver and three passengers [Chevrolet] with injuries were taken to the hospital,” the traffic police said. The state and severity of injuries of the victims are not reported. All the circumstances and causes of the incident are established. The prosecutor's office took over the case.
