In North Ossetia started a large-scale festival "Top 5.33"

North Ossetia became a new center of musical art and opened the doors for a large-scale cultural event. Today in the republic started the festival "Top 5.33". It united the leading philharmonics of Russia, as well as the opera houses of Serbia and Switzerland. 5 thousand 33 meters is the height of Mount Kazbek. The figure became a symbol of the festival, reflecting the desire for heights in music, culture and art. Our correspondent visited the opening. The festival "Top 5.33" started with a master class of the executive director of the cultural center Elena Obraztsova Irina Chernova. She talked to guys who are just starting their way into great art. Together with teachers and concertmasters of Vladikavkaz art schools, Irina Chernova discussed the past and future of youth academic vocals. The most difficult period for vocalists is when the voice changes and it is important to direct it in the right direction. Irina Chernova, Executive Director of the cultural center Elena Obraztsova: The repertoire is very good chosen by teachers, I am very pleased. In general, I appreciate the republic, there are very beautiful voices and many I know personally. Here somehow, I think that the work is proceeding competently. I hope that they will come to visit us, we are always happy, we have two spring and autumn creative school of vocal skills every year. In principle, these are refresher courses, it is basically a job for teachers, they can come with children, they can come alone. But we learn together, we develop together.” As part of the opening of the festival “Top 5.33”, a concert of the Bolshoi Theatre youth program was held. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Albina Plaeva made a welcoming speech from the stage. She thanked the artists who came to North Ossetia and wished a successful performance. The concert was opened by the winner of international competitions Aslan Agkatsev. Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Glinka... From the stage of the branch of the Mariinsky Theatre sound famous classical works of great musicians. Among the performers is the artist of the youth opera program of the Bolshoi Theatre Ilya Legatov. In North Ossetia, it is not the first time and he has already managed to love the local viewer. Ilya Legatov, an artist of the Bolshoi Theatre youth opera program: There are a lot of talented people, and, unfortunately, the temporism of our professions does not allow us to keep up with everyone. Such events, of course, and test young performers for professional qualities. Of course, this is always welcome when young people speak.” A large-scale concert of classical music gathered many people in the hall of the branch of the Mariinsky Theatre. No one was left indifferent. Amina Alibekova, viewer: We were invited to the festival, we are not here for the first time, it was unrealistically beautiful. We rarely listen to this kind of music, but it was really cool. The organizer of the festival is the Timur Slanov Culture and Art Support Fund. The opera singer comes from the small village of Chermen. He began his musical career at the age of six, and now Timur Slanov performs on the best stages in the world, including La Scala and the National Opera of Lyon. Participant of the final of the all-Russian TV project "Blue Bird", the winner of many prestigious awards admits: to perform in his native republic is especially pleasant. Timur Slanov, Honored Artist of North Ossetia, Director of the Timur Slanova Foundation for Support of Culture and Art: It is a great happiness to perform in Vladikavkaz, I always say, because you have not yet made a single sound, you are already applauded. We have a very grateful audience and it is a great joy. I think that thanks to the fact that our guests will feel our viewer, they will be even more happy to go to Vladikavkaz and tell us what a wonderful viewer we have. Timur Slanov performed the romance “The Bride” from the poem “Petersburg”. The music for the work was written by George Sviridov on the words of Alexander Blok. Within the framework of the festival, master classes, conferences and a round table will also be held, where further development of the project will be discussed. Top 5.33 will be held all year. Many artists from different regions of Russia and the world will perform in North Ossetia. The festival will be another highlight of the cultural life of the country.
