223 attacks of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on civilians and civilian infrastructure were thwarted over the past week in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). This is reported by the press service of the defense headquarters of the region.
According to the headquarters, the Dome of Donbass airspace protection and electronic warfare (EW) system detected and intercepted 223 Ukrainian drones in the sky over Donetsk and Makeyevka. The publication also notes that explosion technicians of the regional department of the FSB of Russia neutralized the UAV, after which they eliminated explosive objects at the special polygon. “No civilian casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure have been allowed,” the report said. Earlier it became known that the AFU attacked with drones civilians in the village of Dachnoye in the DPR, when they tried to draw water in the well.
