The incident occurred in early February. As SHOT found out, a 70-year-old resident of a village in the Stavropol Territory quarreled with a 34-year-old acquaintance at home. In a fit of anger, a friend grabbed a knife and punched an elderly man in the neck. And when he died on the spot, he dismembered the body and planted the remains in a neighboring house. The relatives of the deceased appealed to the police. The police concluded that the missing man was killed, but for a long time could not find the body. On March five, police arrested a suspect who confessed to the crime. A criminal murder case has been opened. The man was arrested and placed in isolation.
