Particularly prominent is the sphere of clothing production, where the number of enterprises increased by 30, and the production index increased by 15.3%. “The range of products produced by Tomsk companies is increasing. Today, our manufacturers sew almost everything: underwear, adult and children's clothing, including outerwear; school uniforms. Our brands are popular throughout Russia, have stores in different regions, enter the markets of neighboring countries, said Mikhail Sergeychik. Also, food production increased by 4%, the total sales of which amounted to 63 billion rubles. Seven companies received state support in the amount of 5.7 million rubles for the development of food production. For the Tomsk buyer, it is important to have Tomsk goods on store shelves, including in retail chains. And we actively support the promotion of our local products and continue this work this year, said Deputy Governor of the Tomsk Region for Economics. Currently, local producers hold a significant market share: 87% of bread and bakery products and 77% of chicken meat are produced in the region. Earlier we talked about the award, which will be awarded to the best combine harvesters who have achieved outstanding results in terms of the volume of ground grain over the past year. The amount of the prize will be 75 thousand rubles.
