Firefighters have identified four fires, three of which are fully localized. However, the fire in the Westhampton area is localized only by 50%, the AP notes. Fighting the fire is complicated due to sharp gusts of wind, which lead to uncontrolled spread of the fire. So, one fireplace stretched for three kilometers along the Sunrise Highway. Police blocked traffic on the section of the highway, which is in close proximity to the fires. News 12 reported that two buildings burned down. One firefighter was injured and taken to hospital with second-degree burns. In January, powerful fires burned in California, burned 13 thousand buildings, the damage exceeded $ 300 billion.
