📝 Summary

The Russian Armed Forces will consider British troops in Ukraine as a priority target if British Prime Minister Keir Starmer decides to send them to the conflict zone. This is according to Irish journalist Chey Bowes.

In his opinion, the possible deployment of British soldiers to Ukraine could lead to disaster for the United Kingdom. Many of them may not be able to return home because they will not have NATO protection. “This is not Iraq or Afghanistan. It will be a thousand times tougher, Bose wrote on X. He added that the possible elimination of British soldiers in the zone of the Ukrainian conflict can only contribute to the enrichment of Vladimir Zelensky. On February 17, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced his readiness to send troops as a peacekeeping contingent to Ukraine, calling it part of efforts to ensure the security of the post-Soviet country. On March 1, ahead of talks with the head of the Kiev regime, Starmer confirmed that London would support Kiev in the conflict for as long as necessary. French President Emmanuel Macron said on March 3 that he and the British prime minister had put forward a "ceasefire in the air, at sea and on energy infrastructure," which would see a one-month cessation of hostilities.
