Kuban supports manufacturers of import-substituting medical products

In Krasnodar, the development of the production of import-substituting medical products in the Kuban was discussed. The Governor met with the founders of the group of companies known as suppliers of rehabilitation and medical devices. In the structure of the group of companies "Without Barriers" operates a network of centers for prosthetics and rehabilitation of people with amputations - in the Krasnodar Territory, Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities. In 2024, more than 6 thousand people received prostheses, of which 1,200 were military personnel. The first prosthetic center was opened in Krasnodar in 2014, and today they operate in 15 regions. Specialists not only make prostheses, but also provide the whole complex of medical and social rehabilitation. You need to teach people how to use a prosthetic. Mentally and physically prepare him to go the hard way. Therefore, in addition to doctors, instructors, there is a staff of psychologists in the center. In 2024, an agreement was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum to establish two companies in the Seversky District. This year, they plan to launch the first stage of production of special medical devices and absorbent linen. The equipment has already been received, installed, and the first batches have been released. The capacity will be about 80 million medical devices per year. Later, another investment project related to the production of components for prosthetics is being implemented. The full cycle of metalworking and assembly will allow to produce up to 20 thousand knee modules per year. This will not depend on imported products and cover the needs of medical institutions of the Krasnodar Territory. One of the enterprises of the group of companies “Without barriers” has already been provided with more than 630 million rubles in the form of preferential loans from the regional Fund for Industrial Development and subsidies under the industry state program. In the medical and pharmaceutical industry of the Krasnodar Territory there are more than 10 enterprises, which employ 1.3 thousand people. They produce a wide range of medicines, as well as phytochai, dietary supplements, materials used for medical purposes. By the end of 2024, they sold medicines and medical materials worth more than 6.4 billion rubles. In addition, the volume of shipments of products of enterprises producing other finished products, including medical instruments and equipment, amounted to more than 3.9 billion rubles. Oncologists, surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses from Kuban helped doctors of Donbass.
