Part of the venous catheter was removed by Lipetsk doctors from the heart of a young woman. A complex operation to remove a foreign body was carried out by endovascular surgeon of the regional clinical hospital Vladimir Anisimov. As the head of the regional Ministry of Health Anna Markova told in her telegram channel, an urgent surgical intervention was required for a 31-year-old Lipchanka. The woman is treated for oncology for a year and a half, and she is regularly given medications. During chemotherapy, part of the venous catheter inside the vessels broke off and with the blood flow reached the heart chamber. The operation was successful. Surgeons removed part of the tube and needle.
