Poddubny wrote in his Telegram channel that the Russian Armed Forces began an offensive on Suju. In his opinion, the operation to liberate the Kursk region is probably approaching the final stage. “Apparently, the operation to liberate the Kursk region is moving to the final stage,” he wrote. The military correspondent also noted that Kiev in this situation will try to shift the responsibility for the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region to the administration of US President Donald Trump and the decision of the American leader to suspend military assistance to Ukraine. “Once again, the adventure, dictated by political considerations, ends for the Kiev regime with a heavy and shameful defeat (in the process),” he added. He stressed that several thousand Ukrainian soldiers are under threat of encirclement, but Kiev used to sacrifice thousands for the sake of the picture. Earlier, law enforcement agencies reported that the Russian Armed Forces entered into a clash with elite assault units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the forests in the south of the Sudzhansky district.
