In Russia from the territory of Ukraine returned 33 residents of the Kursk region, which had previously taken the APU. This was reported by the Commissioner for human rights in Russia Tatiana Moskalkova in his Telegram channel.
They were evacuated with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the mediation of the Republic of Belarus. “They are on their native land,” Moskalkova wrote in her message. Acting Governor of the Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein said that among the returned Kuryans many elderly people, one of the women in may will be 90 years old. There are also children – the smallest girl is just under two years old. Among the returned Russians there are disabled. Nine people require emergency hospitalization. Ambulances are already on their way. People will be placed in hospitals immediately. Hinstein assured that all returnees will be provided with clothes and necessary things. They will be assisted in quickly processing all documents. Already, people began to issue mobile phones so they could contact their relatives. Also, returning Russians will be assisted with all support measures, including a monthly payment of 65 thousand rubles, established by the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
