Deputy of the Kirov district Council of Samara Sergey Turusin was fined for saving a girl from a crowd of migrants with knives. He reported this to the Tsargrad publication.
The politician said that he was approached by a friend living in a dormitory at the address Factory Highway, house No. 66. She witnessed three natives of Azerbaijan beating a local resident in the lobby of a hostel. The girl called an ambulance and the police. After that, she called Turusin, asked to come and escort her to her friend. But the attempt to leave the southerners did not appreciate: having surrounded the deputy's car, they began to beat the windows and threaten with knives. Turusin had to fire a traumatic pistol. After the incident, law enforcement officers drew up a report on Turusin for shooting in a public place. The court fined the deputy 40 thousand rubles and ordered the seizure of weapons. According to the MP, a person who has a weapon for self-defense will not stand up for the victim if he witnesses a crime. So he'll know he could face a fine. “And people write: this happens everywhere,” said Sergey Turusin.
