Radio "Culture" launches a series of joint projects with the museum reserve "Tsaritsino". The Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve hosts an exhibition-research of the phenomenon of Soviet folk art dedicated to the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia and on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the USSR. The curators of the project strive to present this phenomenon as a grandiose and successful social and artistic experiment of the Soviet era, to show its multilayered and ambiguous nature, as well as to offer their version of the reasons for its subsequent decline. The exhibition will feature about a thousand works from the collection of the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve. Modern technologies are involved in the search for folk art – some of the objects are presented in 3D digitization and animation. 15 December 2022 – 28 July 2024.*** The Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve has opened an exhibition on the history of industrial glassmaking in Russia, its development and rapid growth in the twentieth century. The exhibition features more than 200 items, many of which are leaving the repository for the first time to become part of a large exhibition project. Dates: March 18 – August 25, 2024. The curators of the exhibition tell Svetlana Parchak and Alexander Germasimov. *** *** Exhibition of wooden toys, telling how a simple wooden billet in the hands of a master turns into a work of art. The exposition contains dozens of ancient and modern toys, as well as tools for carving and painting on wood. The exhibition is part of the permanent exhibition. The curator of the exhibition Daria Kolpashnikova tells.
