Biography of Lyange Margarita Arvitovna Education: - Faculty of Journalism of Lomonosov Moscow State University; - History Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University, specialty of ethnopolitical science; - Postgraduate studies of the Russian Academy of Civil Service under the President of the Russian Federation, Department of Journalism and Information Policy. 34 years of experience in a journalist, including 26 years at Radio Russia as a special correspondent, a live broadcaster, information and analytical and author programs, an adviser to the General Director, a political observer. Author of a number of scientific publications on the topic of state information policy in a multiethnic state, the fight against xenophobia and ethnic extremism in the media. Author’s creative projects have the highest awards of such all-Russian competitions as “Patriot of Russia” (the main prize), “Smirotvorets” (the main prize), “Silver Archer” (diploma), etc., as well as the Moscow award in the field of journalism. Initiator and head of the Interethnic Press Club (2002) and the Guild of Interethnic Journalism (2003). Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of Peoples of Russia (since 2007), is a member of the Information Commission of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation on Interethnic Relations, the Expert Advisory Council under the Interdepartmental Working Group on Interethnic Relations (chairman – Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation A.G. Khloponin), the Expert Council of the Committee of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Nationalities. Author of the idea and creator of all-Russian projects “Smirotvrets”, School of Interethnic Journalism. Editor-in-chief of the newspaper “National accent” (appendix to the weekly “Arguments of the week”) – the only country all-Russian printed publication about the modern ethnic life of the Russian Federation. He lectures at the Russian Academy of Public Service under the President of the Russian Federation, at the Faculty of Journalism of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
