The television play, based on the play of the same name by Alexander Kron, reveals eternal themes - honor, love and loyalty, betrayal. The action takes place in Leningrad during the Great Patriotic War and tells about the heroism and boundless devotion to the Motherland of military sailors. Before the submarine goes on the campaign, it will have a long preparation, full of petty fights and unexpected collisions with cowardice, meanness and treachery. And in the course of this exhausting battle, the honest and brave Captain-Lieutenant Gorbunov “tests for lice” himself and the people of his crew, those with whom tomorrow he is on the campaign.
