Polish presidential candidate says he is ready for talks with Putin

In an interview with Virtual Poland, he said he was ready to sit down with the Russian leader. “I am able to sit down at the table with Putin,” Navrotsky said. However, this does not change his opinion on the need for Ukraine to participate in the negotiations. In addition, Navrotsky said that the European Union is not involved in negotiations with Russia because of its weakness. According to him, the EU is plunged into chaos, which is confirmed by the fact that negotiations with Russia are conducted without the participation of Europe. Relations between Russia and Poland have deteriorated significantly in recent years. Moscow accused Warsaw of aggressive Russophobia. And the Polish authorities, despite criticism and protests from Russia, continue to demolish Soviet monuments and seize Russian property. In response to Warsaw’s actions, Moscow added Poland to the list of unfriendly countries and expelled dozens of Polish diplomats and consular officers. Earlier, Myśl Polska wrote that Poland should take the example of Hungary and improve relations with Russia.
