The dormitories of Magadan and the village of Ola will meet the transformation. The completion of the overhaul in the regional center, at Karl Marx, 60A, is scheduled for March 2026. At this point, they intend to put in order, including the roof.
The question of the need for repairs was raised more than once by students of the Polytechnic themselves, during meetings with the head of the region. Sergey Nosov visited a hostel in the regional center. Discussed with the leadership of the educational institution and with students the work plan: repair of rooms, showers, kitchens and laundries. A little earlier, the update will be met by the pupils of the Olsk branch - they intend to complete the transformation by August 15 this year. The changes will also affect the administrative and educational building, which this year will celebrate its 53rd anniversary. In the Olsk branch of the Polytechnic College there are about 200 students at the full-time department. “All windows are expected to be replaced and all toilets, gymnasiums and locker rooms will be renovated. Well, the hostel, which was built in 1975, will also be renovated. This is 100% window replacement, bathroom replacement. It also implies the practice of students of the construction faculty, who will come to practice and repair rooms in dormitories. The event itself is very significant for the institution, of course, students will have to move, said Irina Yerisova, head of the Olsk district.
