It is created by analogy with the federal program "Time of Heroes", proposed by President Vladimir Putin. Its purpose is to prepare management personnel from among the participants and veterans of the SVO. Another patriotic initiative of the region will be the erection of a monument to the participants of the military operation at the foot of Mamayev Kurgan - more than two thousand applications have already been received by the organizing committee.
