The renovated museum space “They fought for the Motherland” was opened in Springs. The exposition dedicated to the Rodnikovsky heroes was placed in the tourist center. It was presented on the eve of the celebration of the Defender of the Fatherland Day. The names of 9 heroes of the Soviet Union are immortalized on the memorial stands of the city. The museum offers to learn about their exploits, as well as curious facts from the lives of fighters. A separate stand is dedicated to the Hero of Russia, Alexander Smetanin, who died during a special operation. The first visitors to the museum were students of a local college.
