25-year-old local resident of the Amur region will answer before the law for attempted murder. Because of jealousy, he almost killed his friend. On December 21, 2024, the accused was at his home in the village of Tambovka. There he drank with his father and fellow villagers. For about 19 hours, a conflict arose between the man and his guest due to jealousy towards his partner. The Amur resident wanted the comrade not to take the woman away. The aggressor struck the victim 2 blows to the head with a metal poker, and then, when a fight ensued, several blows with a kitchen knife in the back, the press service of the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia reports. However, the father of the attacker intervened in time. He separated the men and called an ambulance. Because of this, the accused did not realize his criminal intent. At first, the relatives said that they were not involved in the incident, but in the end the son confessed to what happened. The case has now been sent to court for consideration on the merits.
