According to the report, the parties will also try to find out how seriously Ukraine is set to improve relations with the administration of US President Donald Trump after the recent failed negotiations in the White House. “You can’t say ‘I want peace’ and ‘I refuse to compromise,’” the source said. Another source said that Washington wants to understand whether Ukrainians are interested “not just in peace, but in a realistic world.” For this, he said, representatives of the United States intend to hear the opinion of Kiev on the future borders of Ukraine. White House National Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes said the head of the Kiev regime, Volodymyr Zelensky, had “made progress” in restoring U.S.-Ukrainian relations after a skirmish at the White House talks on Feb. 28. “With meetings in Saudi Arabia this week, we hope to hear more positive developments,” Hughes said. The Ukrainian delegation will include the head of Zelensky’s office Andriy Yermak, Foreign Minister Andrei Sibigha and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov. U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vance said on March 4 that the head of the Kiev regime will not be able to return to the White House until he is ready to discuss the details of the peace agreement on Ukraine. Trump has previously said that those who speak out against resolving the conflict will not stay in power for long.
