These words were confirmed by RIA Novosti by another source familiar with the case from law enforcement agencies. In the case of embezzlement of funds allocated for the construction of fortifications, the general director of KRKO Vladimir Lukin, his deputies and some other defendants were previously arrested. According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, Lukin and his accomplices, concluding fictitious contracts with firms that were supposed to conduct construction, appropriated more than 3.2 billion rubles. Earlier it was reported that only the management of the corporation enriched by more than 800 million rubles.
