The documentary tells the story of modern student groups and the history of the movement since 1959. Two stories are intertwined in the plot: student detachments of the Soviet period and the modern RSO movement. Each of the characters of the film was a member of the student movement. High-ranking socio-political figures will share their stories about working in student groups, as well as tell how the modern RSO movement contributes to the development of the country's economy and the education of young people. The plot of the film tells about four heroes who passed through modern student squads. Students will share their experiences, achievements and stories about how Russian student teams have affected their lives. Filming took place in the Republic of Belarus and three regions of Russia: the Novosibirsk region, the Altai Republic and the Altai Territory. The filming was attended by: Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Yuri Gordeev, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy and Chairman of the Board of Russian Student Detachments Mikhail Kiselev, head (commander) of the Central Staff of the Russian student detachments and member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Dmitry Paramonov, General Director of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev and singer Evgeny Trofimov.
