The festival is a new life of old spaces filled with the energy of music. The festival pushes the boundaries of classical jazz and opens up new names that can become the face of Russia on the world cultural scene. The word Jazz comes from JASM, which in the nineteenth century was synonymous with the word pep – life energy. In 1912, a columnist for the Los Angeles Times sports column used the expression JAZZ BALL – about a pitch in baseball that can not be beaten. Soon the word JAZZ began to refer to the genre of music that united the African and European musical traditions. The President and the ideological inspirer of the festival for several years gathers his friends for apartment buildings and introduces them to talented musicians, artists and performers met on trips and even metro crossings. Professional musicians, poets, artists, as well as frequent guests of Maria. The magical synthesis, the atmosphere of creativity, improvisation, new projects born in the process of the apartment, the desire to preserve and share happy moments, influenced the creation of a joint project on radio culture.
