The Governor of Kuban laid flowers to the Eternal flame in the military-patriotic center "Patriot"

In the morning, February 23, in the military-patriotic center "Patriot" in the Dinsky district, consecrated the chapel of St. John the Warrior, built on the territory. The saint, in whose honor the temple is named, in Russia is considered the patron saint of the military in the battles for the Fatherland. After that, for the first time in the history of the Krasnodar Territory, a solemn laying of flowers to the memorial took place in the Patriot Park. Participants of the ceremony honored the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland with a minute of silence, and brought flowers to the Eternal Flame. Solemn march was held by soldiers of the Krasnodar garrison and Cossacks. Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev said that the Patriot Park is a complex of 150 hectares, where school graduates, our boys – future defenders – will be able to undergo the basics of initial military training. He noted that it is very important that the new generation will grow on the example of military feats of ancestors and contemporaries - from the heroes of ancient Russia to the participants of the special operation. This is the history of a great country and every family, the basis of traditions and culture of our people.
