📝 Summary
Ukrainian militants looted the object of cultural heritage - the Holy Sign Church in the village of Borki in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region. The looters did not touch only the iconostasis, everything else, including the icons, they took out of the temple.
As told TASS military priest Alexander Zinchenko, the ensemble of the Holy Sign Church is significantly damaged. It is also known that during the retreat of the APU mined the doors of the temple. We went to Borki, went inside (the Holy Sign Church – Ed.), and there only the iconostasis remained. We gathered some icons and that was all. And there was no more, everything was stolen, the archpriest noted. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case against Ukrainian servicemen who destroyed the object of cultural heritage, which was laid in 1886.
