The power plant operates as part of the Udarnaya TPP, which provides electricity to the housing and communal sector and industrial enterprises of the South of Russia.
The first domestic high-power turbine GTD-110M has been operating since last autumn. Its total operating time was more than 4 thousand equivalent hours, of which more than 2 thousand hours were in full industrial operation. This is the main proof of reliability of all turbine systems. The GTD-110M produced by our UEC is the first high-power turbine fully developed and manufactured in Russia. It is always a bit exciting when such an ambitious project, the work of hundreds of scientists and engineers, moves into the stage of real implementation and industrial operation. Today, the operation of the turbine is already several thousand hours and it is safe to say that the GTD-110M has confirmed the accuracy of calculations, design solutions and its reliability. The turbine confidently supplies electricity to the Unified Energy System of the country. At the facilities of UEC, the construction of next serial power plants of high capacity is underway, Rostec said. The Udarnaya TPP since its launch in 2024 has generated more than 3.3 billion kWh of electricity for the Krasnodar Territory. The total installed capacity of the power plant is 560 MW. Its production will be about a third of the total output of all power plants in Kuban. Now it is considered the most technically advanced combined-cycle thermal power plant in Russia, Rostec reports.
