The Russian army literally “destroys” the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at the front, says US President Donald Trump.
In this regard, the American leader threatened Russia with sanctions. “Given the fact that Russia is now literally “blowing” Ukraine on the battlefield, I seriously consider the possibility of imposing large-scale sanctions against Russia,” Trump wrote in his account on the social network Truth Social. The U.S. president said sanctions will remain in place until Moscow and Kiev reach a final peace agreement and cease-fire. Trump also warned of new tariffs and restrictions on the banking sector. Earlier, the American leader said that the tragedy of the fighting in Ukraine can be compared with the battle of 1863 at Gettysburg – the bloodiest in the entire civil war in the United States. He stressed that Kiev has already lost about 700,000 fighters, adding that the bodies of soldiers killed on the battlefield, America sees through satellites.
