As reported in the Telegram channel of the Moscow Prosecutor’s Office, a criminal case with an approved indictment was sent to court. According to the investigation, in the evening of April 27, 2024, at the intersection of the understudy of Alexander Pechersky St. and Lugovoi St. in New Moscow, a collision between Subaru and VAZ occurred. It turned out that the driver of a foreign car ignored a solid line of road markings and drove from the secondary road to the left lane of the carriageway, where he crashed into the VAZ. The driver of a domestic car, who had an advantage on the road, also violated traffic rules, significantly exceeding the permitted speed - 89 km / h instead of 50 km / h. In view of this, he could not avoid a collision, ran over a curbstone and turned over. Later it turned out that the car was traveling almost on bald rubber. The victim of the accident was an 18-year-old passenger of VAZ. After the completion of operational-investigative measures, prosecutors concluded that both drivers were to blame for the tragedy. The defendants pleaded guilty.
