The educational program "School of the restorer" has existed for almost 15 years.
40 historical objects were restored by young Tyumen residents in the framework of the program "School of the restorer". The subtleties of the craft are taught by the staff of the regional search center named after Arthur Olkhovsky. In the hands of the young restorers got a unique item – a store of aircraft machine gun of the Great Patriotic War. The exhibit was found in the Tver region during the expedition. The educational program "School of the restorer" has existed for almost 15 years. Previously, young Tyumen residents were engaged in the restoration of ancient objects only during the summer holidays. Now the program is year-round. Classes are attended by about 30 teenagers. Mark Nigiris is in eighth grade and is interested in history. Attention is paid to the period of the Great Patriotic War. In the "School of the restorer" Mark not only gained new knowledge, but also literally touched the past. During the year-round program, schoolchildren restored about 40 historical exhibits. Among them are belts, helmets, buckles. Most of the finds are from the Novgorod region. Participants of the "School of the restorer" with trepidation are waiting for the opportunity to go on an expedition in search of unique exhibits. To do this, you need to reach 14 years and successfully pass the test. Already on April 19, a group of lucky people will go to the excavations in the Novgorod region.
