The military officer called the absolute fact that the initiative in the Kursk border is 100% in the Russian army. “It is another thing that in some places the APU managed to gain a good foothold, they have quite dense concrete fortifications, and therefore we smoke them out a little slower than we would like. On the other hand, we do it calmly, thoroughly and losing at a minimum, if someone [lose], then mostly wounded, Zenin said. He added that, according to the Russian military, if the AFU decides on a counteroffensive in the border, it will be their last operation. Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Russia reported that the Russian army liberated the settlements of Pogrebka, Orlovka and Novaya Sorochin in the Kursk region.
