The Prosecutor’s office approved the indictment against a 23-year-old man, previously convicted, under article 228 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation, concerning the illegal acquisition and possession of drugs on a large scale. According to the investigation, this villager, being a drug addict, collected the tops and leaves of wild cannabis, which was the reason for his charge of possession of a narcotic substance - marijuana. “Almost 1 kg of narcotics the young man hid in the barn of a friend and stored until the discovery and seizure by police officers,” – stated in the message. It is known that the accused fully admitted his guilt. The criminal case was sent to the Molchanovsky District Court for further consideration.
