In Izhevsk, a 36-year-old local resident is accused of violating the privacy of his ex-wife and trafficking in pornographic materials. This was reported by the Investigative Committee (IC) for the Udmurt Republic.
The man is charged under Part 1 of Art. 119 (“Threats of murder”), Part 1 of Art. 137 (“Violation of privacy”), Part 3 of Art. 242 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Illegal trafficking of pornographic materials”). According to the investigation, in November 2024, the accused threatened to kill his ex-wife, used physical violence and intimidated her. In addition, after gaining access to her mobile phone, he illegally copied photos and videos depicting the woman’s private life and distributed them. “As part of the investigation, a search was conducted at the place of residence of the defendant, he was questioned as an accused, he did not admit guilt in the crimes committed, the victim, witnesses were interrogated,” the IC said. Additional episodes of the criminal activity of the accused are established. The man is currently detained and sent to a temporary detention facility.
