A pensioner from the Ivanovo district issued a savings deposit and lost his savings. The police appealed 64-year-old resident of the village of Novo-Talitsa. The day before, a girl called him through the messenger and introduced herself as a bank employee. The caller offered to open the deposit at a very favorable rate. The man was interested in the proposal, and he agreed. During the conversation, the fraudster convinced the victim to download the application for remote access. In this way, she was able to see and control all the manipulations that take place on the pensioner’s phone. The man transferred 136,000 rubles to the accounts of scammers.
