Almost 1,000 people fall into the flooding zone in the Balezinsky district of Udmurtia. This is reported by the press service of the municipality. According to the preliminary forecast, the passage of spring flooding in the region is expected in March. Based on the analysis of past years, in the spring, 1 settlement, 117 houses with a population of up to 940 people, including 186 children, 210 pensioners, fall into the zone of possible flooding in the Balezinsky district. Sections of roads, socially significant objects in the area of spring flood do not fall, – stated in the message. To eliminate possible flooding, the district authorities prepared lumber, sand and gravel mixture and rubble. In case of emergency, temporary accommodation points will be organized on the basis of 1 school in the village of Balezino and in the Kozhil school. The issue of feeding the population in temporary accommodation and transportation of the population from the flood zone has been worked out.
