248 billion rubles are kept by residents of the Ivanovo region in bank accounts. Accumulation for the year increased by more than a quarter. In the accounts of organizations, savings doubled and amounted to 31 billion. 15 billion are kept in banks by individual entrepreneurs. The growth of such savings for the year was 18%. “By maintaining a high key rate, the regulator gives people the opportunity to earn on more profitable deposits, delaying the consumption of non-essential goods for some time. As a result, the income on the deposit compensates for inflation, and a person can actually increase consumption with income growth. At the same time, bank deposits are insured by the state within 1.4 million rubles, said Dmitry Nikolaev, managing the Ivanovo branch of the Bank of Russia.
